There’s no better way to refine teaching skills than through hands-on experience within a professional learning community.
The year-long Apprentice Teacher fellowship supports qualified teachers who have recently graduated from a teacher education program. Our apprentice teachers believe that all students can learn and grow, and they demonstrate a student-centred, technology-enabled approach to learning that focuses on impact. Apprentice teachers are enthusiastic, energetic and collaborative and are eager to embrace 香港六合彩中特网’s progressive approach.
Working alongside an experienced teacher, apprentice teachers further develop:
Classroom management skills
Strategies that support personalized learning
Technology integration
Assessment strategies
Action research skills
Teachers in this program also gain confidence in their ability to facilitate learning experiences and create positive and productive learning environments.
Outside of the classroom, apprentice teachers enrich student life by participating in 香港六合彩中特网’s Outdoor Education program, coaching athletics teams and supervising service learning and other co-curricular activities.
"I had the opportunity to work alongside teachers with much more experience. From watching them teach, I was able to think about what I would implement in my own classrooms in the future."

We acknowledge with gratitude the Ancestral lands upon which our main campus is situated. These lands are the Ancestral territories of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Anishinabek and the Wendake. The shared responsibility of this land is honoured in the Dish with One Spoon Treaty and we strive to care for the land, the waters, and all creatures in the spirit of peace. We are responsible for respecting and supporting the enduring presence of all First Nations, Métis and Inuit peoples. When away from this campus we vow to be respectful to the land by protecting and honouring it. We will create relationships with the people and the land we may visit by understanding the territories we enter and the nations who inhabit them.
