香港六合彩中特网’s Board of Directors oversees the school's vision, policies and finances, as well as the appointment and ongoing evaluation of the Principal.
The Board of Directors includes 香港六合彩中特网's founders, representatives from the education and business communities, and parents and guardians. Operating at arm’s length from the school, the Board oversees the annual evaluation of the Principal and provides strategic planning guidance and support for achieving 香港六合彩中特网’s mission.

In addition to the Board's responsibilities, Committees have been established to oversee specific aspects of the school's direction, including Governance, Finance, Human Resources and Strategy.

  • Stephen Bowman (Chair)

    Stephen Bowman Stephen Bowman is Vice Chair and Managing Partner, People and Talent at Bennett Jones. He is a member of the firm's tax department. Stephen served as managing partner in Toronto for more than 13 years. He has served on the editorial board of the Canadian Tax Journal and is a Past President of the Canadian Branch of the International Fiscal Association. Stephen is Co-Chair of the International Bar Association's Future of Legal Services Commission and a Past Chair of the IBA's Law Firm Management Committee. He is immediate past Chair of the Board
    of Trustees of the Royal Ontario Museum and currently serves as a director of the Royal Ontario Museum Foundation and Canada China Business Council. Stephen is Board Chair of 香港六合彩中特网 and his children, Callie ’09 and Peter ’12, are 香港六合彩中特网 alumni.
  • Wendy Chong

    Wendy Chong is a presentation skills coach and consultant.  Through her practice, Elevate Your Presence Inc., Wendy works with executives to optimize their impact in face-to-face communications, in person and virtually. Previously, Wendy worked in KPMG’s Corporate Finance practice, and in business development at Artez Interactive, a pioneer in Internet fundraising in Canada.

    Wendy served on the Bishop Strachan School’s Board of Governors (’99-’10), which included chair of the strategy committee and membership on the governance & nominating and finance committees. She has been part of the 香港六合彩中特网 delegation at Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging conferences, and connects with prospective families in her role as parent ambassador.  She is also a supporter and volunteer at New Circles and Yonge Street Mission, charities that serve new immigrants and people experiencing poverty. Wendy also led parent outreach to new Canadians at her children’s TDSB school. In 2022, Wendy launched a grassroots ultimate frisbee program for underserved communities in partnership with the Toronto Ultimate Club. Through this work, Wendy is occasionally a guest coach to grade 4/5 students in the Toronto District School Board, spreading the accessibility and joy of this incredible sport!

    Wendy earned her ICD.D designation (Institute of Corporate Directors) in March 2023, and has an MBA, both from the Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from McMaster University. She is a current 香港六合彩中特网 parent to students in the Class of ’24 and ’25.
  • Ty Diamond '11

    Ty Diamond is Director of Investments at DiamondCorp and its joint-venture subsidiary Diamond Kilmer Developments. Having joined the organization in 2017, Ty is responsible for financial and strategic evaluation of both acquisitions and active development projects. In this role, Ty manages transaction due diligence, deal structuring and negotiations, pro forma analysis, and project financing, all with a focus toward creating value through the land development process.
     
    Prior to joining DiamondCorp, Ty worked as an investment banking analyst at TD Securities, where he advised real estate clients on public and private market transactions including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, and asset dispositions. In 2015, Ty graduated from the Ivey Business School with an Honours Business Administration (HBA).
  • Lisa Dymond

    Lisa Dymond is a seasoned business operator, advisor, and thought leader with nearly 25 years of experience leveraging the power of people to unlock organizations’ potential. Currently, Lisa is Partner & Head of Talent for Altas Partners, a private equity firm with offices in Toronto and New York. Previously, Lisa spent 14 years with the Boston Consulting Group, most recently serving as Head of Talent for the firm’s Canadian Practice, following a number of years as a global expert in People and Organization and serving clients across industries and mandates before that. As a volunteer, Lisa has focused her efforts on the education sector. In addition to her role on the Board with 香港六合彩中特网, Lisa serves as Chair of the Alumni Network Board for the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, and also sits on the Ivey Advisory Board. Previously, she sat on the Board of Directors of the Creative Preschool of East Toronto and the Advisory Board of the LEADER Project, which teaches entrepreneurship in developing economies globally. A native of Vancouver, Lisa is a mother of 3 busy children and in her little free time enjoys canoe tripping, cycling, and thrifting.

  • Allie Hawkey '09

    Allie Hawkey has built a strong financial acumen and passion for establishing lasting relationships through her eight years of experience in professional and financial services. Allie began her career in the Audit Practice at PwC, working with public and
    private companies across various industries. She then held positions in Executive Recruitment and Commercial Banking prior to transitioning into her current role in Wealth Management at RBC Dominion Securities.

    Allie holds an HBA degree from the Ivey Business School and is a Chartered Professional Accountant. 香港六合彩中特网’s culture of philanthropy made a strong impact on Allie as a student, and she is happy to remain involved in giving back to the community.
  • Sherri Laurie

    Sherri Laurie is the Global Head of HR Operations at BCG, a global management consulting firm and the world’s leading advisor on business strategy, with over 12,000 employees across 85 offices in almost 50 countries. In her current role, Sherri leads BCGs All Staff Comp & Benefits, Mobility Services, and General HR functions and systems, Strategic Change and New Business HR as well as the HR functions for BCGs non-consulting populations. Sherri serves on several committees including the Global Functions Leadership Team, Consulting People Team, HR Systems Investment Committee, and Chairs BCGs Compensation Committee and Business Functions and Knowledge People Team.

    A seasoned operations leader, in the past Sherri has led North and South Americas Operations and Staffing at BCG and served as general manager of BCGs Canadian practice. Earlier in her career, Sherri spent a decade in client services focusing her consulting practice on strategy, shareholder value, corporate development and M&A across a broad range of industries. Prior to joining The Boston Consulting Group, Sherri was a co-owner of Canada Consulting based in Toronto. She began her career in retail banking. Sherri's son and daughter are 香港六合彩中特网 alumni.
  • Judy Lewis

    Judy Lewis is the cofounder of Strategic Objectives, Canada’s most award-winning public relations agency. A respected communications, marketing and public relations strategist, Judy provides senior counsel and insight-led creative PR and Reputation Management solutions to many of Canada’s and the world’s leading brands and organizations. Judy has been inducted into both Canada’s Marketing Hall of Legends and the Canada’s Marketing, Advertising, PR and Communications Hall of Fame, recognizing the impact and innovation of her award-winning work that has earned both national and international recognition. This includes being the only Canadian agency to ever be awarded the United Nations Award for Outstanding Achievement in Public Relations, numerous IABC Gold Quill Awards and CPRS Awards for the Most Creative Program of the Year and Digital Campaign of the Year. Judy has been named CPRS PR Professional of the Year and has received this PR Society’s Entrepreneurial Leadership Award. She is the recipient of both the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal and the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Canada and the Communications industry. Judy lives in Toronto, is an active volunteer and the parent of two 香港六合彩中特网 Alumni (2009, 2011).

  • Linda Mantia

    Linda is is a Director of McKesson Corporation, a NYSE listed diversified healthcare services leader where she is Chair of the Compensation and Talent Committee and a member of the Governance and Sustainability Committee; a Director of Ceridian HCM Holding Inc., a NYSE and TSE listed global human capital management software company, where she serves on the Audit Committee and the Governance Committee; and a Director of Maple Leaf Foods, a TSX listed consumer foods company. Linda also works with non-public companies including as a Director of Granular Insurance (a private Verily company) and Chair of Manifest Climate. In the community, she is a Director of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and Chairs its HR Committee. 

    Previously, Linda was Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Manulife Financial Corporation, an international insurance and financial services company from 2016-2019. Previously, she was Executive Vice President of Digital Banking, Payments and Cards at Royal Bank of Canada (“RBC”), a multinational financial services company in addition to other leadership roles, from 2003 to 2016. Before joining RBC, Linda worked at McKinsey & Company, and, prior to that, she practised law at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP. 
     
     
  • Richard Venn

    Richard Venn is a Founding Partner of Further Global Capital Management (a Private Equity Firm located in New York) and of Legate Partners (a micro cap equity fund investing in Searchers and the companies that they acquire) and is located in Toronto, Canada. 

    Prior to joining Further Global, Richard enjoyed a 40-year career with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC) where he led investment banking and merchant banking operations and served as strategic advisor to two of the previous CEOs.  Richard served for seven years as Chairman and CEO of CIBC’s Canadian dealer and led CIBC’s Corporate Development Group for more than a decade.  He was instrumental in the formation of Global Payments, CIBC Mellon and CIBC First Caribbean and served as a board member with those companies for many years.

    Richard currently serves as a board observer at LegalShield. He previously served on the boards of Payment Alliance International, Element Fleet Management, The Bank of Butterfield, DBRS, Global Payments and more than 10 other companies. He currently serves on the Board of 香港六合彩中特网 and is past Chair of the United Jewish Federation of Toronto and the United Way of Greater Toronto. Richard and his wife have three children (two girls and one boy) who have played competitive hockey through high school and into university. He is passionate about the development of hockey for girls and women.

    Richard received a BASc (Engineering Science) from the University of Toronto and completed his MBA at Harvard (Scholarship).
  • Richard Wernham (Past Chair)

    Richard Wernham has more than 35 years' experience in the global wealth management industry and was the founder and Chief Executive of one of Canada’s largest independent mutual fund companies. Currently the Group Chairman of the Soutterham Group, he was formerly a lawyer with Tory, Tory, DesLauriers and Binnington, specializing in securities and corporate law. He is a Governor of the Royal Ontario Museum. Richard was also a Special Lecturer in Law, Trinity College at the University of Toronto from 1977-1994 and remains active in the academic community. In addition to his appointment as a Director of 香港六合彩中特网 (of which he is a founder and former Board Chair) he is also a Trustee of the Lakefield College School Foundation and he has been a significant financial supporter of academic initiatives. Richard and his wife, Julia, have funded the establishment of the Richard Wernham and Julia West Centre for Learning at Upper Canada College. In recognition of their contributions to education, Richard and Julia received the Robert L. Payton Award from The Council for Advancement and Support of Education in 2010. His children Emma and Simon graduated from 香港六合彩中特网 in 2006 and 2008, respectively.
  • Julia West

    Julia West is the President of Julia West Home, a design company that creates custom designs for residential, commercial and institutional clients. A lawyer by profession, Julia practiced law for 20 years, specializing in civil litigation. Julia's involvement in academic life includes direct education and instructional experience as a Sessional Lecturer, Department of Law at Carleton University. In addition to her appointment as a Director of 香港六合彩中特网 (of which he is a founder) she has been a significant financial supporter of academic initiatives, including funding the establishment of the Richard Wernham and Julia West Centre for Learning at Upper Canada College. Julia and her husband Richard Wernham have three children: Nick, Emma and Simon.
